NEURO-OPHTHALMOLOGY
The Neuro-ophthalmology unit of The Jacobs Neurological Institute is dedicated to the achievement of excellence in neuro-ophthalmic patient care through the support and promotion of education, communication, research, and neuro-ophthalmic practice.
The Neuro-ophthalmology unit evaluates visual disturbances related to dysfunction of the nervous system. Patients with unexplained visual loss, diplopia or intermittent visual abnormalities can be evaluated using new diagnostic instruments to measure visual fields, papillary function, ocular motility, color vision, optic nerve function and cortical control of vision.
